We will meet at Jefferson Park for a tour of the Berea Aquaponics Facilities and then head over to the park afterwards to let the kids play! Snacks from the Power-Up After-school Program will be provided, and it's sure to be a good time!

Grow Appalachia's Power-Up After-school Snack Program will now be providing nutritious snacks for the kids at our events! Last Saturday at the Creek Clean-up they brought little brown paper bags with apples, pretzels, yogurt and a nutrition bar. I am seriously so excited about partnering with Grow Appalachia for this club. They truly are a tremendous asset to the community.

About Grow Appalachia

Grow Appalachia emphasizes food production in order to introduce as much no-cost, fresh, healthy food as possible to the region. The basic goal is to help as many families grow as much of their own food as possible.
