Our first annual Dinner on the Creek, a radically local fine dining experience to benefit the Berea Farmers Market.
Please join us on August 12th for an exploration of deeply local and deeply artistic cuisine hosted by culinary alchemist Adam Burke.
The meal will include four courses, with wine from Cedar Creek Vineyards, and take place on the beautiful Clear Creek Schoolhouse grounds just seven miles from Berea.
ABOUT THE CHEF:
Classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and with Michelin Star kitchen experience, Adam will be practicing his craft and offering a farm to fork dinner in an intimate setting using exclusively local ingredients.
ABOUT THE FOOD:
Every bite will be sourced from his own extensive gardens, from friends and fellow farmers—including, of course, those you know from the Berea Farmers Market—and from the hills and hollers of these Appalachian foothills where he forages from the wild.
Each flavor carries its own story, and we invite those who revel in fine food, eating as an ecological act, and engaging in the poetry of place to enter into these stories of connection—and support the work of the Berea Farmers Market, which is such a vital part of our local food resiliency!
Tickets are available at the Berea Farmers Market info booth, or contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your reservation. When reserving your ticket, please let us know whether you’d prefer the omnivorous or vegetarian options. We ask for a minimum donation of $60 per person, with all proceeds going to the Berea Farmers Market. Please reserve your ticket soon, as this is a small event limited to twenty people.
Consider arriving around 6:00 if you’d like to explore the gardens and grounds, with dinner being served at 7:00.
