A Buddhist View of Life and Death

Please join the Carter G. Woodson Center and the Willis D. Weatherford Campus Christian Center in presenting an interfaith dialogue with Buddhist leader, Daniel Nagashima, Executive Advisor for Soka Gakkai International (SGI) - USA.

This event is open to the public and the Berea campus community, and will take place in the Carter G. Woodson Center Gallery, 11 a.m.  Monday, January 30. Lunch will be provided.

Soka Gakkai International (SGI) is a community-based Buddhist organization that promotes peace, culture and education centered on respect for the dignity of life. SGI members uphold the humanistic philosophy of Mahayana Buddhism in 192 countries and territories. In addition to other responsibilities, Mr. Nagashima serves on the Board of Directors of Soka University of America. Soka University is a private, non-profit, four-year liberal arts college and graduate school located on 103-acres in Alisa Viejo, California.
